Psychiatrically
Recovering
Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings
This is a meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous, designed to meet the needs of those alcoholics who are currently on, or have been on, psychiatric medication. We recognize that many people having both alcoholism and a mental illness, may require medication maintenance.
Often times, people who have or had serious problems with mental illness and need to take medication can be misunderstood in their regular AA meeting experience. Hence, the need for this type of meeting, along with other AA meetings.
If you know of any person who you think might need this type of AA meeting, please contact a group member who will help you.
Note: It is recommended that all meetings be verified for time and location prior to attending.
